OUR STORY
Born from a quiet moment of transformation.
"Affirmation Online was born from a quiet moment of personal transformation. It happened when I lost the only parent I knew, and one gracious word reminded me of my worth, my power, and my purpose."

OUR STORY
This isn't just a store. It's a sanctuary.
"Be still, and know I am God." (Psalm 46:10)
Affirmation Online was born from a quiet moment of personal transformation, a time when deep pain and darkness collided in the world I was living in, without hope, when I lost the only parent I knew.
My name is Latchmin, and I created this brand because I believe every person deserves to be surrounded by grace that uplifts the soul, when you find yourself at the bottom of life's darkest moments. Sometimes, all it takes is one gracious word, seen at the right moment, to remind you of your worth, your power, and your purpose. For me, that word came in the form of an affirmation.
This isn't just a store. It's a place where wellness meets style, and where every word seen on an item or garment carries the energy of hope, healing, and possibility out of the darkness.
Welcome to Affirmation Online. You belong here. 💚

WHAT WE STAND FOR
Empowering. Premium. Nurturing.
Empowering
Every affirmation is chosen to remind you of a strength you already carry, not to sell you a new one.
Premium
We choose materials and printing that hold up to daily life, because a reminder you can't keep isn't much of a reminder.
Nurturing
This is meant to be a soft place to land, not another feed shouting for your attention.

Implementation Notes
Section order rules
Hero is always first. Trust strip always immediately follows the hero. Do not insert anything between them. FAQ sits near the bottom but before the final CTA. Footer is always last. On the product page, the trust badge row must stay directly under Add to Cart, because that's where cart abandonment doubt peaks.
Photography requirements
| Shot type | Purpose | Needed for |
|---|---|---|
| Lifestyle | Product in real use / worn | Hero, homepage story block, product gallery |
| White background | Clean product clarity | Collection grid, product gallery |
| Detail / texture | Shows quality of print, fabric, wax | Product gallery |
| Founder portrait | Builds trust | About page, homepage story teaser |
Every icon placeholder in this prototype (hoodie, candle, journal, etc.) marks a spot that needs a real photo before launch. Swap, don't delete, so section proportions stay correct.
Developer time estimate (Shopify build)
| Page | Est. time |
|---|---|
| Homepage | 1.5 days |
| Collection page + filtering | 0.5 day |
| Product page template | 1 day |
| About page | 0.5 day |
| Contact page | 0.25 day |
| QA + mobile pass | 0.5 day |
| Total | ~4.25 days |
CRO principles applied
- No carousel/slider hero, just a static hero with one CTA
- Trust strip placed immediately after hero, before any product browsing
- Free shipping threshold set at $65, roughly 1.3 times current AOV of $49.58, engineered to lift AOV, not just cover shipping cost
- Bundle (Sacred Stars Ritual Set) priced above AOV to pull the average up
- Founder story surfaced on homepage and given a full About page. The strongest trust asset was previously unused
- Product page keeps trust badges directly under Add to Cart, where purchase doubt peaks
- Sticky mobile Add to Cart bar, since 60 to 75% of traffic is mobile
- Contact form trimmed to 4 fields
- Working product search in the header, since search users convert 2 to 3 times higher than browse-only visitors
- Countdown/offer block only renders when a real, dated campaign is live (see CAMPAIGNS in the code), with no fake evergreen urgency
- Cart drawer cross-sells 1 to 2 items not already in the bag. This is the single highest-leverage AOV lever in the cart
- Recently Viewed on the product page keeps a browsing visitor moving instead of exiting
- Instagram/Pinterest are the brand's real traffic sources today, and the homepage now has a slot pulling that social presence on-site instead of leaving it stranded
Ad-traffic section order (used on this build)
Since this site is about to run paid traffic, the homepage follows the ad-visitor mental journey rather than the organic one: What is this? (Hero) → Is this legit? (Trust strip) → Is it worth it right now? (live offer/countdown) → Do I want this? (categories, bestsellers, bundle) → What if I don't like it? (guarantee, repeated at the final CTA) → How do I start? (Shop CTA). Don't reorder these five without re-testing.
Ad readiness checklist: do this before spend goes live
| Item | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Meta Pixel + Conversions API | Browser-only pixel tracking under-reports 20–30%+ post-iOS14.5; server-side CAPI recovers it |
| Google Ads conversion tag + GA4 events | Fire view_item, add_to_cart, begin_checkout, purchase. This build's button structure maps directly to those events |
| UTM convention per campaign | Tag every ad with the matching CAMPAIGNS id (e.g. utm_campaign=labor-day) so spend ties back to the exact sale window it drove |
| Message match | An ad for the Sacred Stars Candle should land on that product page, not the homepage, so every click should confirm the exact thing the ad promised |
| Mobile page speed | Paid social traffic is 80%+ mobile, so compress final photography before launch; icon placeholders load fast, real images may not |
One correction from your original calendar: actual Labor Day 2026 falls on Monday, September 7, not September 1. The countdown in this build is set to the correct date so the sale doesn't end a week early.
Success metrics to track post-launch
- Overall conversion rate and Revenue Per Visitor (RPV), the one metric that captures both CVR and AOV together
- Add-to-cart rate by product
- Mobile vs. desktop conversion rate
- Cart-to-checkout and checkout completion rate
- Average order value, tracked weekly against the $65 free-shipping threshold
Don't-do list
- Don't run a stale or mismatched announcement bar. Verify it every time a promo changes
- Don't fake review counts or urgency ("only 2 left") unless it's real
- Don't hide price or shipping cost until checkout
- Don't remove the sticky mobile Add to Cart bar
- Don't add more than 5–6 top-level nav items
- Don't send every ad to the homepage. Link to the specific product or offer the ad promised
- Don't leave a campaign's countdown running past its real end date. Update CAMPAIGNS the moment a sale ends
Mobile-specific notes
Sticky Add to Cart bar on product pages. Filter pills scroll horizontally rather than wrapping awkwardly. Cart drawer becomes full-width. All tap targets sized to at least 44×44px. Hamburger menu replaces the full nav below 900px.
